cozy, early nights, proper me time

hello everyone, i have been gone for almost 2 weeks which is quite sad but the wind blew me the other way around and now i'm back again and well i still have to do the post about hibernation as a human being, the deep sleep tutorial,  but first i just want to say merry late christmas, i hope you all have had a wonderful time! :)  so let's get started, here is a tutorial to have a deep winter sleep to relax the fullest and survive the horrible long and cold winter nights!

i sleep on the ground on two matresses, when i lay in my bed the first thing i see are glow in the dark stars, amazing i love them and they make  me feel like i'm sleeping outside in a field between flowers and rabits. on my window frame, just above my head, i have made a little altar, as already showed in my last post. (scroll down a bit)

what you may will need:

1. candles
2. loads of blankets and pillows
 3. a good book or magazine
4. a big mug
5. a hot chocolate milk or night time tea
6. a jug
7. pajamas + a sweater
8. lavender base bath oils

how to fully relax during winter time:

1. turn off your electronics
nowadays everyone is always busy checking their text messages, facebook etc. we never properly relax, shut your self off from the world for a night and have some me time

2. build your nest
create your bed with knits, blankets and pillows, layer them all up and get your self really cozy

3. find a time to hibernate
you probably don't want to do it on a work night because you can't fully relax because you know you will have to get up early for work, for me a saturday night would be perfect. go to bed earlier than normal and get all snuggled up.

4. bed time beauty
run a really warm bath with some lavender base bath oils to help you relax and light a few candles

5. sleep in style
cotton pjama bottoms are really thick and cozy rather than synthetic ones, a sloppy sweater and some bed socks, you want to feel really cozy so go for quite some layering!

6. nightcap?
get yourself some dark yummy hot chocolate and maybe melt some marshmallows on the top, if you want to go a bit healthier you could make yourself some night time tea

i hope you found this interesting, don't forget to read a good book instead of playing a game on your ipad / mobile phone, it's all about cutting your self off from the world for one evening a week ;)

sweet dreams xxx

review lush tea tree water

hi my lovelies, as promised my second post of today which will all be about my experience with tea tree water from lush, i have had it for over about almost a month and it lasts a really long time since i spray the toner on my face every morning and evening just before my moistorizer and after i clean my face.

as i walked into lush i already knew what i wanted to buy, i did some research about some products as i tend to get overwhelmed in lush by all the really nice smells and the soaps who look like cakes i want to eat.

the little research about the product told me that the tea tree toner is particularly good for a young teen skin with acne. tea tree is a wonderful plant from australia, the oil has cleansing, disinfecting properties. the lush toners are all vegan, and like all lush products not tested on animals and made by hand.

the toner is contained in a really handy spray bottle, i just use a few pomps and dab it on the skin with my hands but you could use a cotton pad instead if you please. it tickles a little bit but not horrible at all just like a moisturizer would. it's really refreshing and it has helped improve my skin for sure although i use a lot of other products aswell so i'm not really able to tell if the toner did all of the work but i like the product and i will repurchase it when i run out of it, thumbs up for lush tea tree water ! xxx

hibernate as pet being

i have a lovely rabbit called belle which is french for beautiful, pretty, nice etc and that is actually quite suitable for my oh so huge belle. he is called belle because we assumed it was a female, turned out he wasn't even though i called him beau for a few weeks i seemed to like belle better and kept saying that instead.

belle used to sleep outside in his own little garden but i got a little bit sad because i love having him around me all the time. as it kept getting colder outside and snowing for a few days in a row i decided it would be a good idea to prepare his cage inside and let him move inside for winter and hopefully longer (ofcourse i didn't heat on for the first week that would be a huge step!!)

because i love decorating my own little house (my room) everything needs to be in style  so does his cage and basket so i went shopping... as usual.

i actually already did have a maroon cage at my dads so i went to the city to pick that up and then i bought another basket (because he has grown so much) and threw the other ones away. this time i bought a pink one, i think its so cute and suits my room very well its also very soft and cozy. he will be roaming my room when im home because his cage is very little and this basket is huge its actually a cats basket, haha. and last but not least i bought some wildberry treats, they smell really nice for pets food actually xxx
